Courtenay D. Mercer, PP, AICP (Send Mail)
Courtenay is responsible for managing the PNJ’s many activities, including organizational development, educational programming, policy formation and advocacy, and community outreach, among other tasks. Mercer recently took on this role, capitalizing on her past experience on the Board of a historic house museum, as well as historic preservation experience utilizing transfer of development rights, adaptive reuse redevelopment, and other planning techniques. Courtenay is also the Principal of Mercer Planning Associates, a boutique land use planning firm specializing in strategic community engagement. With substantial public and non-profit sector experience, Mercer has overseen diverse and complex projects with all types of communities. She has also played key roles in legislative and regulatory processes.
Dale Perry (Send Mail)
Dale has served as the PNJ Office Manager since 2015. She is responsible for maintaining the membership database and general mailing list, as well as ensuring all donors are acknowledged for their support of PNJ. In addition to other administrative functions, she screens all telephone inquiries and provides the information to appropriate board members for response. Since 2008, Dale has been a member of the group established to restore and reuse the 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing. She continues to participate as a volunteer member of the 1867 Committee.
