Director

Emily is responsible for managing PNJ’s many activities, including organizational development, educational programming, policy formation and advocacy, and community outreach, among other tasks.  Manz recently took on this role, capitalizing on her past experience and education in urban planning, heritage tourism, and economic development in New Jersey. Emily is also the President of EMI Strategy, a consulting firm specializing in planning, marketing, and events that drive commerce in downtown districts. Manz also runs Have You Met Newark, a tour company  specializing in historic walking tours, food tours,  and custom experiences. She brings ample government and non-profit experience and networks to this role.

Dale Perry (Send Mail)

Dale has served as the PNJ Office Manager since 2015. She is responsible for maintaining the membership database and general mailing list, as well as ensuring all donors are acknowledged for their support of PNJ. In addition to other administrative functions, she screens all telephone inquiries and provides the information to appropriate board members for response. Since 2008, Dale has been a member of the group established to restore and reuse the 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing. She continues to participate as a volunteer member of the 1867 Committee.
