About the event

Join Preservation New Jersey, the Westfield Historic Preservation Commission, and Janine G. Bauer, Esq. for a workshop on understanding legal resources and general preservation law for Historic Preservation Commissions. This discussion will explore preservation law, focusing on the legal frameworks, regulations, and resources essential for the protection of historic resources within your communities. Participants will gain knowledge and practical tools for navigating the legal landscape of preservation.


This program will be held in-person at the Westfield Historical Society's Reeve House from 10:00am-12:00pm.


Light breakfast and refreshments will be served.


PNJ is launching a new series of roundtables for Historic Preservation Commissions to network and learn ways to navigate challenges, new technologies, and more when it comes to preservation initiatives within our communities.
