About the event
Owners of a landmark or a building inside a designated historic district must obtain a permit from before performing any type of work. Overall permits are required for any restoration, alteration, reconstruction, demolition or new construction that affects the exterior of an individual landmark or a building in a historic district. Historic preservation ordinances of each municipality varies causing Commissions to face preservation challenges differently. Join PNJ for its first historic preservation commission round table of 2024. This round table will focus on and discuss ways to navigate and work with your local construction and zoning officials for successful preservation outcomes.
This program will be held virtually via Zoom from 7:00-8:30pm.
