Talks with Our Ten Most

Talks with our Ten Most is a virtual discussions with historic site owners and interested groups on where the sites are now. For nearly 30 years, PNJ has hosted a 10 Most Endangered Places in NJ list initiative which spotlights replacement, historic, architectural, cultural, and archaeological resources in NJ that are in imminent danger of being lost. The act of listing these resources acknowledges their importance to the heritage of NJ and draws attention to the predicaments that endanger their survival and the survival of historic resources statewide. This program provides a “look back” on the sites listed throughout the years. These stories look for lessons learned in both successful restorations, demolitions, and years of preservation work by those who are actively engaged in the site. The format of the program is PNJ Board Member opens the program and passes it to the team or persons associated with the 10 Most listed site who provides a presentation. Following the presentation, questions are then opened to the public that attend.
